ODU Ceramics students recently organized  the Haha no hi (Mother’s Day) Student Pottery Sale to Benefit the People of Japan a fundraiser for the people of Japan.
Students and faculty from Old Dominion’s ceramics and art education classes have made and donated beautiful bowls and cups for the Haha no hi Mother’s Day Pottery Sale.  The fundraiser contributed over 2000.00 to the charity.

All Proceeds from the Haha no hi (Japanese for Mother’s Day) sale went to  the Save the Children Foundation (http://www.savethechildren.org) to benefit the people of Japan.

Juan Granados Visiting Artist will be demonstrating and lecturing at Old Dominion University Ceramic Program Thursday Jan 21st  from 11-2 and 3-5:00

and Friday  Jan 22nd.

Juan is an Artist and Associate Professor of Art at Texas Tech University.  Juan will be jurying and presenting the winning artists in the Magic Dirt National Juried exhibition at the Baron aand Ellin Gordon Art Galleries. Friday Janruary 21st.
